It is a great joy to let you know that the new Citizen Cope CD is going to be
available for pre-order starting today, Monday, August 31st. We wanted to thank
you for signing up for our email list and for your support for Cope over the years
and give you the opportunity to be one of the first fans to purchase the new album,
as well as some exclusive, collectable bonus items.

Citizen Cope's new recording is his 4th official release and is entitled
The RainWater LP. These are special, collectable items available to Citizen
Cope supporters and are available only thru Citizencope.com. We won't be
offering digital downloads of The RainWater LP until 2010.

We are offering you three different options for purchase:

Option #1) THE CD ($10)
Purchasing this option will get you the official CD release of The RainWater LP.
It can be ordered directly from Citizencope.com for $10, plus the cost of shipping.
This option guarantees delivery of the CD at least one week prior to the release
date. You will have it before it's in stores on February 9.

Option #2) THE RAINWATER LP INITIAL PRESSING CD ($75)
This deluxe option gets you the limited edition The RainWater LP, with unique
artwork and packaging, individually signed and numbered by Citizen Cope
himself and delivered to you on the release date of February 9, 2010.
Additionally you'll receive the limited-edition CD, titled Side A: The RainWater LP containing the first half of the album, plus 1 acoustic bonus song, from the record.
The"Side A:" package also features unique artwork and packaging and each one
is signed and numbered. Side A: will be delivered on NOVEMBER 3,
2009, 3 months prior to the official release date. You'll get this before
any digital outlets, radio or press receive it! It can be ordered exclusively
through Citizencope.com for $75, plus the cost of shipping.

This package features the following:

- Limited-edition CD titled Side A: The RainWater LP features the first half of
the record plus 1 acoustic bonus song. Unique artwork and packaging only
available as part of this option
- Each CD will be individually signed and numbered by Citizen Cope himself
- A special bonus CD of unreleased tracks, including live and acoustic versions
of Citizen Cope songs
- A booklet of lyrics for all four Citizen Cope records, The RainWater LP, Every
Waking Moment, The Clarence Greenwood Recordings and Citizen Cope.
- The official CD release of the full version of The RainWater LP, delivered at
least one week prior to the release date.
**Please note: Numbered CD's will be filled by the order in which purchase was made.

Option #3) SIDE A: THE RAINWATER LP ($25)
Choosing this option gets you the limited-edition CD, titled Side A: The
RainWater LP, containing the first half of the album, plus 1 acoustic bonus song,
from the record 3 months prior to the official release date. It features unique
artwork and packaging and each one is signed and numbered by Citizen Cope
himself. You can order exclusively through Citizencope.com for $25, plus the cost
of shipping, and it will be delivered to you on NOVEMBER 3, 2009. Please note
that this CD is also available as part of the above deluxe Option #2 THE INITIAL PRESSING.

Citizen Cope will head back out on the road in mid-September. The tour will kick
off in Petaluma, California (9/17), followed by two nights at the Fillmore in San
Francisco then down the coast for shows in Anaheim, San Diego and Hollywood.
The tour also includes stops in Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Missouri, then down
to Texas, for the Austin City Limits Festival. The band will proceed to New
Orleans, Tennessee and North Carolina before closing out the tour at The
